Meant to delete a bunch of histograms I just made...typed "rm histogram *" instead of "rm histogram*"

Those of you who know Linux know that space just cost me all the files in my working directory...not a huge deal since everything is versioned, but ugh I hate it when I do dumb stuff.

I'd better go home too because it took me almost a minute to spot the difference between the two. :-/

That's what you'll get if you insist on using the CLI to input commands. A good input interface gives you visual confirmation that what you're doing is right. That's why I refuse to input anything into any computer using anything other than a row of dip switches.

(Seriously, you know RM just unlinks files, right?)

Yeah but I don't know how to recover the unlinked files. 2 minutes of googling didn't tell me either, so I just re-cloned my repository since not much was changed.

Sounds like that was the right option, then :)
